Sunday, May 2nd

Well, Saturday morning started with a few snowflakes here. Snow on the first day of May, don't remember that before. Well, at least it's snow and not the torrential rain that Tennessee and other southern states seem to be getting. Hope all is well with our friends and family down South.

Greg snapped a few pictures of a rainbow that appeared midmorning here. Stayed overcast the rest of the day but no rain or snow.

We had to go check out the book sale at the library. Got quite a few books and videos. The sale filled 2 auditoriums and several smaller rooms. The books were well organized and pretty much in alphabetical order by genre. Made looking for mysteries, wildlife, and nature books quite easy. Got several Alaska books so we can prepare for our summer adventures.

Got a few more pics along the Coastal Trail. Greg has become quite the photographer and added a little artistic touch on a picture of me.

We spent Sunday afternoon moving our belongings to a new hotel. This one is closer to Ship Creek so I'll have a prime spot for the salmon run. We only saw birds on the creek today, but I'm sure that will change soon.
