Spring is here... I think. It has been in the low 50 degree range these last few days. However, the wind made it feel a bit lower, but still an improvement. Greg did build the first fire here in the condo this weekend. Not quite sure why he waited until we had daytime highs near 50, but whatever. We are up to near fifteen hours of sunlight per day. It still hasn't been able to melt the last stubborn remnants of snow in some areas. You can see some of the remaining snow in this picture we took on the Coastal Trail Saturday afternoon. Today on the Chester Creek Trail there were several areas completely covered with snow! We did renew our warm weather ritual of walking to the Fred Meyer's store for essentials. This three mile round-trip walk is most enjoyable and we look forward to it every week. We are also looking forward to a Seward trip in a couple of weeks. We will be taking a whale watching tour to spot the migrating gray whales.
