We'll try to get you up to speed on our lives lately. I've been quite busy with these online classes. We did find time last weekend however to go to Sullivan's Steakhouse here in downtown Anchorage. BF Jacque went along with us for this delicious dinner. Greg really enjoyed his chili rubbed T-bone steak. Sunday night he found time to cook for us. He made his famous chicken and dumplings. Here are a few photos of him hard at work in the kitchen. This was a practice batch before SBFs Mindy and Paul come down next weekend for Fur Rondy. The rest of the week was busy as I had parent/teacher conferences 2 nights. Thursday we awoke to at least 6 inches of fresh snow! Friday was pretty fun as it was my friend Terry's birthday. After I got my hair colored, I met her for a celebratory Mexican dinner. Greg, Jacque, and I made a quick trip to Freddie's for some food for the 3 day weekend. I made halibut dip and other snacks for Saturday night. We had a delightful time relaxing, snacking, and watching a movie. Greg cooked his delicious spaghetti for us Sunday night. Today we went for a nice afternoon walk. That sun can sure be deceiving- it looks so warm and bright. However, it was only about 20 or so. Here Jacque and I posed for a picture on a parkbench with snow as high as the seat! It was very pleasant until that sharp wind hit you. Luckily, it wasn't blowing the whole time and we were able to enjoy the beauty of the snowy landscape.
