Sunday, December 11
We have been taking it easy the last few weeks. Partly due to our laziness but mostly due to the crazy weather we've had lately. Last weekend the temperatures climbed back above freezing and we had a little bit of everything fall from the sky. Freezing rain, sleet, snow and rain created an icy mess! Last weekend, in fact, we never even left the apartment. I finished some classwork for graduate school and Greg can't account for his activities when asked. Hmmm. This weekend was better. I got out yesterday and did a little shopping with our friend, Doris. Then Greg and I had dinner and returned home after a quick stop at the grocery store. Today the wild weather was back. We had a blizzard warning, high wind warning, and a bunch of snow! In our quick walk around the block and we were covered in big wet snowflakes. It was beautiful! The blizzard warning expired at ten tonight. We will probably see a bit more snow overnight but the weather is supposed to calm down after that.
